The dark-haired teen sniffed in heavily and curled up a bit tighter on his bed, his lower lip clenched between his teeth and his nose pricked a pinkish-red from the tears he fought back. His cell phone was gripped tightly in his hand and he lay in a disheveled pile atop his bed as he replayed a bit of the conversation he'd had moments before in his mind, trying to come up with excuses and reasons. Though, he was failing to do so.

While laying in bed, even now, I'm always afraid I'll see some sort of white face staring out at me from dark crevices if light were to pass over it. Like an unseen entity that's always just out of view, watching me while I sleep. So I suppose this is a bit of a play off of that.}
